Stamford Park Trust Christmas Appeal

14 November 2023

Trust member Astley Sports Village have now launched this years Christmas Gift Appeal as we bring the magic of Christmas to local Tameside families in need of our support this year, to ensure their children wake up to Christmas Presents and experience the magic of Christmas that every child deserves.

The initiative sees the Academies within Stamford Park Trust partner up with up to 5 local primary schools to identify families in need of a little extra support this Christmas. Without the Christmas appeal, their children will not have presents under their trees on Christmas Day, donations go directly to those families via their primary school so we ensure that Tameside children can have the magical Christmas experience.

From Monday 6th November the Astley Sports Village Christmas Tree will be up in the main sports village reception area for the community to drop off donations in reception before midday on Friday 8th December.

We also offer businesses who wish to donate the option of a financial donation of your choosing to the school account. We will then purchase items on your behalf and these items will be focused on particular age groups or genders that we may be short of. In return we will advertise your business's support to our appeal across all our social media pages.

Ideas for donations:

  • Toys for Boys & Girls
  • Superhero Sets
  • Children’s Toy Pram Sets
  • Board Games
  • Craft Sets
  • Remote Control Cars
  • Books
  • Selection Boxes
  • Toiletry Sets
  • Teenager Makeup Sets

We ask that all items donated are new and not second-hand. If your unsure what exactly to get feel free to email m.storie@astleysportsvillage.org.uk.
