Expectations and Rewards

We know that consistent attendance is essential for our students’ personal and academic development, and we want to make sure no one misses out on the exciting activities and prizes we have planned this half term.

From February through to May, there’s something fun to look forward to every week! Highlights include:

·        A trophy filled with sweets

·        Free breakfast

·        £15 vouchers

·        Year Group Prize Draws

The term culminates with the biggest reward of all – a trip to Alton Towers! This is reserved for students who:

·        Achieve at least 95% attendance (missing 3 or more days will forfeit your place)

·        Have no suspensions

·        Keep fewer than 4 visits to IEX

We want our students to see that consistent attendance isn’t just about being in class - it’s about learning, having fun and experiencing the rewards that come from dedication and striving to do your best. By embedding the value of commitment and high attendance into our school culture, we hope to nurture responsible, ambitious and motivated young citizens.
