Rayner Stephens High School Celebrates Record-Breaking GCSE Results
Rayner Stephens High School is celebrating another year of improved GCSE outcomes, marking a significant milestone in the school’s continuing journey of improvement and success. This year has seen a notable rise in the number of students passing both English and Maths but most pleasingly the school has seen a significant rise in students achieving the higher grade 6,7s, and 8s across a wide range of subjects, as well as the highest number of grade 9s ever awarded in the school’s history. These results reflect the ambition and determination of students, who have demonstrated real resilience and dedication throughout their studies.
Head of School Martin Davies said: “I am incredibly proud of all our students and the hard work they have put into their studies. This year’s results represent another hugely positive step forward for our school and highlight the ambition we have for every young person here at Rayner Stephens. Our vision is that every student leaves with a strong set of GCSE results and the skills and confidence to go on to successful futures, and these achievements show how committed we are to that vision is being realised.”
We are immensely proud of all of our students and what they have achieved but would like to highlight the particular achievements of Maryam Dabbagh achieving three grade 9s and five grade 8s, Sadia Sadiq who achieved two grade 9s and six 8s, Iman Adnan achieving an amazing four grade 9s, three 8s and a 7 and Denzel Samuel a brilliant grade 9, five grade 8s and two grade 7s.
The school has also paid tribute to the support of families and the wider community, whose encouragement has played a vital role in helping students achieve their best. In addition, Rayner Stephens also recognised the commitment and dedication of its staff, who have worked tirelessly to support, guide and inspire students throughout their time at school.
Together, this partnership of students, families and staff has helped deliver some of the strongest results in the school’s history.
