Discover what life at Rayner Stephens has to offer at our Open Evening
Rayner Stephens High School is inviting prospective students and their families to its Open Evening on Thursday 24th September 2026.
Taking place from 4.30pm until 8.30pm, the evening will give families the chance to explore the school, meet staff and students and discover what makes Rayner Stephens such a welcoming place to learn.
Visitors will be able to find out more about the school’s ambitious and inclusive curriculum, the support available to students and the wide range of opportunities offered beyond the classroom.
From enrichment activities and student leadership to educational visits and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, students are encouraged to discover new interests, build their confidence and make the most of their time at Rayner Stephens.
There will also be talks from Headteacher Martin Davies at 5.30pm, 6.30pm and 7.30pm, giving families the chance to hear more about the school’s vision and what they can expect when their child joins the Rayner Stephens community.
Mr Davies said: “We know that choosing a secondary school is a big decision for families, so our Open Evening is a brilliant opportunity to come and see Rayner Stephens for yourself.
“We are incredibly proud of our inclusive and supportive school community. Our staff work hard to ensure every student feels valued, develops confidence and is encouraged to aim high. We look forward to meeting prospective students and their families and showing them everything our school has to offer.”
Families visiting the Open Evening can also enjoy a free dinner from the Rayner Fish and Chip Shop.
The Open Evening will take place at Rayner Stephens High School, Yew Tree Lane, Dukinfield, Cheshire, SK16 5BL.
